Hey! My name is Baxter, but you can call me Bax. Welcome to my blog! I've been wanting to create something like this for quite a while - I really enjoy other Animal Jam blogs as well as things like Jamaa Journal/Animal Jam update archives, so I thought I'd combine the two in this blog! I'll be reviewing all things Animal Jam such as new animals, pets, dens and more! Think of it as me buying all the crazy bundles Animal Jam brings out so you don't have to, as well as attempting to keep an archive of all the Jamaa Journals from this moment on so that future Jammers can look back!

Some things about me... I've been playing Animal Jam (primarily the "main" Animal Jam, formerly known as Play Wild) since I was around 8 years old in 2014. Over the years, I've fallen in love with the game and I've loved watching it evolve. I also occasionally play Animal Jam Classic and have since about 2018, but I'm not as big of an AJ Classic fan as I am of regular AJ.

Another game I love is Roblox, which I've been playing since 2016 as well. I'm an avid Pet Simulator X player on there!

My usernames on these games are Gameonbb (Animal Jam) and baxplaysgames (Roblox).

Hey Jammers!  Hope you're well. Welcome to another Animal Jam Classic update overview! This update was released on Thursday, April 28th. Let's get into it! On the first page, we have Arbor Day ! This is a pretty cool promotion! Definitely a great way to let players know about the importance of tree-planting. The nitpicky Jammer in me would have loved to see potentially some Arbor Day themed items too, but it's all good. On the second page, we have Crocodiles are Here! I find it rather interesting that Animal Jam is acting as if Crocodiles are new to the game, considering they were literally released ten and a half years ago, though they haven't been available for almost three years now so this is a pretty exciting return! In all seriousness, it's nice to have Crocodiles back as these are a pretty underappreciated animal that some very cool looks can be made with. HUGE Animal Jam Update! Corrupt Mira Statues, Bat-Eared Foxes, Crafting Crystals & MORE! (April 2022)

 Hey Jammers! Hope you're well. In this post, I'll be overviewing the latest Animal Jam update that began rolling out ( release date/time was different for different platforms ) around April 27th-28th. Let's get into it! On the first page, we have Corrupt Mira Statues ! This is pretty cool! It appears we have a new type of battle-able (is that a word? I don't think so) NPC in-game. This is a follow-up to last week's update  where Liza revealed that the Phantoms had managed to steal Mira's precious feather. Since then, the Phantoms have created corrupted versions of the statue and those statues are swarming Jamaa. Yikes. Similar to the Phantoms, you'll need a Paintseed Launcher Pack to battle these, as well as a supply of Paintseeds. Paintseed Launcher Packs can be found at the Shop in Alpha Headquarters, while Paintseeds can be found via Paintseed Trees which can be purchased in Alpha Headquarters or found throughout the Phantom Dimension. BIG Animal Jam Classic Update! Free Membership Code, Elegant Emerald Bundle, Otters & MORE! (May 2022)

 Hey Jammers! Today I'll be reviewing the Animal Jam Classic update that released on Thursday, May 5th. On the first page of the Jamaa Journal, we have a Free Membership Code! Yep, you read that right. This month only, all Jammers can redeem the code " AJPLAY " to receive two weeks of free membership for both Animal Jam Classic and Animal Jam, a Spring Bunny animal, and a Spring Small House den! In Animal Jam (non-Classic/Play Wild) you'll receive a Spring Bunny and Spring Small House too, alongside a Masterpiece Token. This was already covered in the latest Animal Jam update, but it's nice to see it being covered in Animal Jam Classic too.
